The injector of the cT-Framework has been added to prefetch scanning list of the newest Antitcc. Prefetch scanning is a lame detection method for detecting native hacks with uscript. Windows uses the prefetch folder for saving information about applications to start them faster. So for the injector (”Winject.exe”) there are also information files created by windows in the prefetch folder which Antitcc uses to see if the user has run it.

The detection is easy to fix though:

1. Go to X:\Windows\Prefetch and delete the content of the folder
2. Go to the path where your cT-Framework files are and rename “Winject.exe” to something else like “BlaBla.exe” or “WTFIono.exe”
3. Start the renamed injector executable und go playing

It is also possible to disable prefetching in the registry (source: windowsreference.com):

1. Click Start – RUN, type “regedit”
2. Navigate to the following Registry key:
   [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\PrefetchParameters]

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
   \SYSTEM
   \CurrentControlSet
   \Control
   \Session Manager
   \Memory Management
   \PrefetchParameters

3. In the right-pane, look for the key “EnablePrefetcher” edit and set one of the following values as you require:

   0 – Disable Prefetch in Windows

   1 – Prefetch only Application Lauunch files

   2 – Prefetch only Boot files

   3 – Prefetch all

   Say, you don’t need Application caching then simply set the value to “2″ which will prefetch only Boot files. Instead of disabling the prefetch, option two should do the trick as well for Antitcc. I haven’t tried it yet, so do that at your own risk.

4. Reboot the system for the changes to take effect.

For people who aren’t very familiar with computers, there is a tool which automatically applys the tasks for you called Windows XP Prefetch Clean and Control. Download it if you have problems with following the methods dedcribed above.

Due to the disabling of my old domain, I registered a new domain today with the name cT.cheatz.to. It’s not long at all and easy to remember for everyone. You can still use cheatator.cheaterelite.de if you like it more as it’s all the same.

At this point I want to thank reepo2k for providing webspace for me. I haven’t been able to talk to him for a while since I’m very busy and not using messengers that much, so it’s not self-evident that he still hosts this website. Life ain’t easy, but I hope that I get some time to have a word with him soon.

For some unknown reason, my free .tk domain is not available anymore. I don’t know if they removed it or if it’s just a technical issue. There is no way to contact them through mail as far as I can see on their website. It seems that the domain got deleted as it’s not listed in the user panel no more. I never had any problems with dot.tk in the past, but now they suddently started to redirect the domain to a domain parking service.

I hope that you still found the subdomain of cheaterelite.de via google or any other search engine to read this post. In the future please use http://cheatator.cheaterelite.de to visit this blog. I may register a new domain somewhere else soon at another anonymously service.

I’m thinking about brining up a forum again, but I’m not sure if there are engough people around who would use and register there. The forum would be about cheat releases, coding and tutorials. There would also be third party releases posted to make it more interesting.

I wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Sadly I don’t have a christmas release for you this year as I was very busy in real life. A new version of the cT-Framework is already in work and a new project for UT99 is also planned. More detailed information will be posted soon.

I got a Samsung Syncmaster T220 22-inch Widescreen LCD Monitor for christmas. I haven’t constructed it yet, but I will do at the weekend and tell you how it is. It looks kick-ass: very large and well-designed. I hope that there are no technical defects.

I thought about dealing with Direct3D a bit and I found out that it’s kinda easy. It just takes only a few lines of codes until you get a fully functional wallhack in every game. Chams and text drawing are easy as well when you get a good base to start with. I suggest you to start with the Direct3D Starterkit from Azorbix as it’s well organized and contains everything you need to get started. It can be found among some good D3D-Tutorials on gamedeception.net. The hook which is used in the starterkit is well known and detected by the most native anticheats. A good alternative is a VTable hook like the one posted here.

In UT2004, I was wondering why nobody ever released a simple D3D-Hack. It’s easier than in other games because there is no native anticheat which may detect the hook.  Below you can find some screenshots of my beginnings with D3D in UT2004.

Is the UT-Cheating-Scene about to die? In my opinion it is due to the inactiveness of coders who, it seems, are either busy or coding for other games. If you take a look at the D² board for example, you will see that there are no new releases and almost no new post made in the last days. The same applies to the UT part of mpcforum.com.

Another aspect is the activity of you guys which dropped massively since the beginning. No wonder that most people stop coding or move to other games as they don’t get much feedback. The closing of UT related forums is a result of that as well. Then there are hackers that take forums down just for fun or for a certain reason, we don’t know, but it’s bad and harms the community. I really hope that they can get everything back up soon.

The outdated anticheats are another reason, there is no challenge for us coders anymore. It’s easier for sure, but it would be more fun with a certain challenge.

Last but not least I want to give you a harangue: Please don’t let this great game and the community die too soon. I’m one of the few people left developing UTcheats and I don’t think about leaving soon.

Gugi, the creator of the Screenshot Sender, updated the mutator to version “Final 1″. A new intersting features has been added which adds a log entry whenever a user disconnects after a screenshot is taken. That’s what cT-Framework does when the disconnect feature is activated. Don’t worry, there is no emphatic proof that you try to bypass the Screenshot Sender as for example everyone could get disconnected due to an error or some other problem with the mutator.

Additionally, the feature in the cT-Framework is just for not getting caught when joining a server by mistake and not for playing on server with the mutator. It seems that Gugi wants me to release a bypass or a screenshot faker as he didn’t realized that I was just nice as the disconnector doesn’t affect any clanwars. I will see what I can do in about two weeks when I’ve got more time.

The server where among others the forum of utcheats.info was hosted has been hacked. As result, the main forum stays offline for about two weeks until it’s restored. A temporary forum is aviable for questions about the site. VIP-Members will get the downtime added to their subscription, so there shouldn’t be any notable disadvantage for them.

I hope that they come back soon as there aren’t many places available where users can get cheats for UT and ask their question if necessary.

Finally I got some time to work on this blog again to make it friendlier. I was tired of the old grey style, so I decided to look for a brighter design which I lately found on topwpthemes. I hope you like and enjoy the new look – I do.

As for the lack of new blogentries, I will do my best to post more “interesting” entries for you anytime soon.
